PYONGYANG, North Korea (KGO) -- There are conflicting reports about whether all male college students in North Korea are being required to get the same haircut as leader Kim Jong Un.

Radio Free Asia is reporting the state-sanctioned guideline was introduced in the capital Pyongyang two weeks ago.

But visitors to the country, including journalists, say they haven't seen mass changes in hairstyles.

The report says state-approved haircuts have been around for some time in North Korea. Women were allowed to choose from 18 styles while the men had 10.
