Breast Cancer fundraiser in honor of late Bay Area reporter is Saturday

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- The 10th annual "Friends of Faith" breast cancer fundraiser kicks off Saturday in Oakland.

The 5K walk and fun run honors late Bay Area reporter Faith Fancher who died of breast cancer in 2003.

ABC7 News reporter Carolyn Tyler will be there with her "Breaking News" walking team.

The money raised from the annual event helps low income and underinsured women and men fighting breast cancer.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturday Lake Merritt. The walk then begins at 10 a.m.
