There has been a significant change in Ebola protocols here in the U.S.
On Wednesday, the CDC announced that all travelers coming into the U.S. from Ebola-stricken nations in West Africa will now be monitored for symptoms of illness for 21 days.
The program begins Monday and covers visitors, aid workers, journalists and other Americans returning from Liberia, Sierra Leone or Guinea.
Each person will get kits to help them track their temperature and will be told to inform health officials daily of their status.
The California Department of Public Health has established an Ebola hotline call center to respond to public inquiries related to Ebola.
The hotline, 855-421-5921, will be in operation from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
