A swarm of more than 5,000 wasps took over a spare bedroom at a home in the United Kingdom.

They made a nest on a bed and ate through the bedding, the mattress and the pillows.

An exterminator hired to get rid of the pests says he's never seen anything like it in 40 years.

The wasps got into the house through an open window and used the bed as their home for nearly three months.

The bed was in a spare room rarely used by the owners of house.
