Man suffers life-threatening injuries in stabbing near San Francisco BART station

SAN FRANCISCO -- A male victim suffered life-threatening injuries in a stabbing in San Francisco Saturday evening near the Powell Street BART station, a police spokeswoman said.
The stabbing occurred at about 6:10 p.m. near Cyril Magnin and Eddy streets, Officer Giselle Linnane said.
The suspect fled and the victim was taken to a hospital.
No other information was available.
