Man trapped in trench speaks about his ordeal

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- A plumber trapped in a collapsed trench 17 feet deep was freed after being stuck underground for 13 hours.

Rogelio Esparza spoke about his ordeal publicly for the first time on Wednesday evening. He said the trench collapse happened in a second. He thanked the rescuers, saying he doesn't know how to pay them back.
