Explosion at Mexico City cafe blows debris into busy street

MEXICO CITY (KGO) -- A giant explosion at a Mexico City cafe blew debris and some large objects into a busy street Friday morning.

Authorities say it appears as though natural gas accumulated inside the restaurant and somehow ignited.

Seven people were injured, including an 8-year-old girl.

The cafe was been cordoned off as investigators look through the damage.
