SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Auditions for the ABC show "Shark Tank" were held Friday in San Francisco.

Hopeful contestants lined up at the Stonestown Galleria on 20th Avenue.

The show features would-be entrepreneurs pitching new products to attract seed money from a panel of self-made tycoons.

One entrepreneur said, "Stitch is an online social network for adults over 50. We offer companionship, which includes travel, events, and even romance."

Another entrepreneur said, "My product is called the 'New Leaf Release E-Z Mat'. It's a new yard help tool that helps you pick up leaves, cut grass, and yard debris."

A third entrepreneur we spoke to said, "We got the new revolutionary travel pillow Jet Comfy. Compact, fits right into a purse, and solves a lot of peoples' problems."

A Bay Area contestant will be making her pitch to the sharks on Friday, Jan. 15. You can catch all the action on Shark Tank starting at 9 p.m. on ABC7.
