More than 600 animals were rescued from deplorable conditions in North Carolina.

The ASPCA posted new video of Wednesday's rescue from a private, no-kill shelter.

Many of the pets were wounded, malnourished and living in filthy cages exposed to the weather.

The shelter's owners are charged with several counts of cruelty to animals.
