Crash knocked out power to 3,000 customers in Castro Valley

CASTRO VALLEY, Calif. (KGO) -- An early morning crash knocked out power to more than 3,000 customers in Castro Valley.

A car plowed into a utility pole on East Castro Boulevard and Grove Way around 1:30 a.m. Monday.

There were minor injuries and one person was arrested.

Only two customers remain without power.

PG&E is working to get it restored and drivers should expect traffic controls in the area.
