SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Monday morning, before Super Bowl 50 was even dismantled, people are already asking when we can do it again.

Many of the people who planned for and played in the game still haven't gone to sleep. That's not stopping them from talking about Super Bowl 51 and how soon we could see a Bay Area repeat.

It may be sooner than we think. NFL and Super Bowl officials raved about the success of Super Bowl 50, saying the Bay Area set the bar high for subsequent cities to follow.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell called Super Bowl 50 a "perfect celebration" and says the San Francisco Host Committee could not have done a better job.

That high praise was echoed by Houston's mayor. He complimented the Bay Area on the incredible week of festivities leading up to the game and asked what he could do to bring this weather down to Houston next February for Super Bowl 51.

With all of the positive reviews, the CEO of the Super Bowl 50 efforts says he's optimistic that the Super Bowl will be back in the Bay Area soon.

"We were very clear from the very beginning we did not want this to be a one and done. We did not want this to be a Super Bowl and wait another 10, 20, 30 years to have one. We'd love to have it back in five or six years but there's a lot of work to be done. We still have to evaluate what went well here and get the numbers and the metrics," Super Bowl 50 Host Committee's Keith Bruce said.

At the press conference, Goodell gave Broncos defensive linebacker Von Miller the Super Bowl 50 MVP trophy. Miller thanked God, his teammates and family.

"My mom, she's my biggest van. She's never missed a game. Little league football, flag football, all the way up to where I am now. So truly a blessing to be here," he said.

Miller was very humble and says the Broncos cannot wait to get back to Denver to celebrate with all their fans.

If you're really wondering when we could get it back, Super Bowl 55 could be a possibility.
