17 Santa Clara Co. Rite Aid locations supplying Meningitis B vaccine
SANTA CLARA CO., Calif. (KGO) -- In response to the increased number of confirmed Meningitis B cases in the region, Rite Aid has supplied each of its 17 pharmacies in Santa Clara County with the Meningitis B vaccine.
The CDC says Meningitis spreads through the exchange of respiratory and throat secretions, primarily affecting infants, adolescents and young adults.
Teens living in close quarters, such as college dorms, may also be at risk.
