SAN LEANDRO, Calif. (KGO) -- San Leandro police are searching for two 19-year-old twin brothers accused of being involved in a string of BB gun shootings.

Investigators said they believe they are not responsible for all the shootings in the East Bay recently.

Both men are accused of using a BB gun to shoot at a woman on April 12 on Washington Avenue. They are facing assault with a deadly weapon charge.

Police said a third suspect, a woman driving the vehicle was arrested.

Investigators believe the brothers were involved in other drive by BB gun shootings along the I-880 corridor.

At this point, it's unclear if they're connected to the 125 BB gun shootings over the past few months across San Leandro. "I really want everybody in the public to keep in mind that just because we are going to arrest two people does not mean they are the only two out there doing this so, please pay attention to your surroundings," San Leandro Police Department Lt. Robert McManus said.
