Longtime Clinton friend, former cabinet member supports Bernie Sanders

BERKELEY, Calif. (KGO) -- A University of California, Berkeley professor is a longtime friend of the Clintons, and served as labor secretary under Bill Clinton.

But Robert Reich isn't supporting Hillary Clinton in the election. He's backing Bernie Sanders today, for the first time, he told us why.

"Well it's never an easy decision. I feel very fondly towards Hillary Clinton. I've known her since she was 19 years old. I have a lot of faith in her. I think she'd make a great president for the system we now have, but the system we now have doesn't function very well. I endorse Bernie Sanders because I think he's the best candidate to change the system into the system we need.
