Student claims lesbian pride shirt got her kicked out of class

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. -- A high school student in Springfield, Illinois claims she was harassed by a teacher, because of her sexual orientation.

Grace Dulgar says she wore a lesbian pride shirt to school and was kicked out of class because of it.

The way she was treated caught the attention of many other students, who started wearing similar pride shirts to class.

School officials said they couldn't comment on specific student issues because of privacy concerns.
