People are certainly uneasy at Bay Area airports, but SFO officials say you'll see more uniformed officers around the airport as everyone is on a heightened state of vigilance.

People heading to Istanbul were obviously shaken, many learning about the triple bombings in Turkey when they arrived for their flights.

Some passengers changed their travel plans. "I wanted to reroute my flights and just went to the Turkish Airlines counter and they rerouted me on Singapore Airlines," Palo Alto resident Narendra Advani said.

FlightAware.com shows 119 flights canceled in and out of Istanbul but none to and from the United States.

Those arriving from Istanbul were still in the air when they learned about the bombings.

A Turkish official says at least 10 people are dead following two explosions that have rocked Istanbul's Ataturk International Airport, wounding at least 20 people. It's the third largest airport in Europe. This video is courtesy of yana_chizhanova/Instagram.

One person shot video on the flight as people were learning the news. "They were all arguing and telling the others what happened and do you have any updated news and we were discussing about our country," Istanbul resident Mina Kadigil said.

"I was in disbelief. I couldn't believe it because we were just there a few hours ago and I was like, if we missed our flight we would have still been there," Sacramento resident Ryan Minhas said.

The FAA lifted a temporary hold on flights to and from Istanbul but passengers should still check in with their airlines over the next couple of days.
