SAN LEANDRO, Calif. (KGO) --A 2-year-old in San Leandro has earned the nickname "Little Boy Blue" for handing out thank you cards to law enforcement around the Bay Area. Aiden put a smile on the faces of several San Leandro officers, and even the chief, on Tuesday.

Aiden and his mom Missie have been thanking law enforcement for half of the 2-year-old's life.
"We decided to do it because we figured it's always good to serve those who serve us," said Missie.
Aiden clutches the cards wherever he goes and snaps photos with everyone he thanks along the way.
"Hayward, Oakland, San Francisco," said Missie. "We've also done Fremont, Newark, San Jose, Santa Clara, CoCo County and also in LA."
On this afternoon, Aiden was in San Leandro, not far from the police station.
After a short wait with wide eyes, detectives and even the police chief came downstairs to meet Aiden.
"Thank you so much," said one officer. "Can I shake your hand?"
Police Chief Jeff Tudor adds, "It just warms our heart when we get that support because, you know, we do go out here and try to serve the community and do our best and when we're acknowledged especially by such a young man it's truly appreciated."
After one more round of low fives, Aiden got to take a picture with the group; a picture that perhaps he'll will hang over his desk one day.
"We outfitted him with some San Leandro swag," said the police chief. "So hopefully he'll remember that when he's old enough to test."
"Whatever he wants, we will support him," said Missie.
He has a few years to decide.
