Man rescued after getting stuck between buildings
A man, reportedly trying to impress a date, was rescued after jumping between two buildings.

OAKLAND, PA (KGO) -- A man is recovering this morning after getting stuck between two buildings. It took crews hours to get him out.

This is a case of a date gone horribly wrong, the man trying to impress a woman, jumped between buildings and ended up getting wedged in between two building overnight in Oakland, Pennsylvania, according to police.

The man was reportedly trying to jump in between two buildings when he missed and got wedged in between. The rescue was so elaborate crews had to cut holes through the wall of a business just to get him out. Emergency crews were able to talk to him the whole time.

Fire crews said he's lucky he didn't land on his head. The man was taken out in a stretcher and gave a thumbs up to paramedics as they put him into the ambulance.

No word yet on how badly he's hurt although emergency crews said he was only complaining of a hurt leg or ankle.
