New rules for drones to go into effect

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- This coming Monday, new rules go into effect that could open the floodgates of the drone world to science and industry.

Businesses like Aerotas, which helps construction firms use drones to survey land are getting certified to do what was difficult and costly.
