Kamala Harris, Loretta Sanchez debate at Cal State Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES -- The two candidates for the open U.S. Senate seat in California -- Kamala Harris and Loretta Sanchez -- debated Wednesday night in Southern California.

The debate, sponsored by ABC7, took place on the campus of Cal State Los Angeles in collaboration with the Pat Brown Institute and the League of Women Voters of California Education Fund.

This was the first debate the two candidates agreed to before the November election.
