Giants fire base coaches Bill Hayes and Roberto Kelly

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The San Francisco Giants have fired first base coach Bill Hayes and third base coach Roberto Kelly, team officials announced today.

Kelly was hired as the first base coach in 2007 and replaced Tim Flannery as third base after the 2014 season. Hayes has been in different roles with the Giants for 17 years.
