KNOW AND TELL: Diver shares pics from before terrifying shark encounter

BAJA MEXICO -- The diver who was inside a shark diving cage when a great white smashed through the bars shared new photos from the moments before the incident.

Footage taken by Ming Chan in Mexico shows a great white shark swimming close to one of the cages. Chan said he was trapped inside the cage after the shark broke through one of the walls.

The part-time scuba instructor said he didn't have time to be afraid because he couldn't see what was happening while it shook violently.

Chan says he feels lucky to have not been harmed. A video that captured the incident has been viewed more than 14 million times since it was posted on October 12.
