SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- Inmates at the Santa Clara County Jail are on a hunger strike.

The ABC7 News I-Team has learned at least 125 inmates refused to eat Monday.

They say the department has not implemented recommendations of the recent blue ribbon commission.

They're also upset over the quality of food, clothing and commissary prices. The sheriff's office says medical staff is monitoring the inmates' health.
