Former 49er Bruce Miller pleads not guilty to assault charges

Former 49ers tight end Bruce Miller pleaded not guilty Wednesday to assault charges.

ABC7 News was at San Francisco's Hall of Justice where Miller was arraigned.

He faces seven felonies.

Prosecutors say in September, he attacked a 70-year-old man and his son after he tried to get into the wrong hotel room.

His attorney told ABC7 News he planned to file a motion that would excuse Miller from attending future hearings until his trial.
