SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KGO) -- The search is on for a driver after a deadly crash in Santa Clara. The CHP says witnesses saw a 2010 Chevy Camaro racing another vehicle, going as fast as 100 miles-per-hour just after 12:30 Sunday afternoon.[br /][br /]The Camaro jumped the curb on San Tomas Expressway and crashed into the tree and wall as it approached the intersection of Homestead Road. The car caught on fire and was put out by firefighters. Investigators believe the driver died from the crash, not the fire.[br /][Ads /][br /]" /][br /]The CHP is looking for the other alleged racer, a driver of a silver Acura TL or TSX model with a sunroof.[br /][br /]All lanes of San Tomas are open Monday morning.[br /][Ads /][br /][twitter ID="795634000349904897" /][br /][twitter ID="795655451421478912" /]
