ABC7's Kristen Sze visits San Mateo's Aragon High for Career Day

SAN MATEO, Calif. (KGO) -- Aragon High School in San Mateo hosted its largest ever career day featuring 80 speakers representing different professional and vocational fields.

ABC7 Anchor Kristen Sze went back to school to her alma mater to talk with students about a career in TV news.

The students at the 2015 California Gold Ribbon School asked a variety of questions ranging from how to get into the business, to how slow news days are handled.

"It's up to us to dig hard for little nugget in even what you might consider a boring story that may matter to people," Sze told the students

Each student attended 3 sessions, each focusing on a different career.

Among the most popular was a presentation by San Mateo firefighters.
