Amber Alert canceled after Plumas County girls found safe

An Amber Alert for two young girls who went missing in rural Northern California was canceled after they were found safe.

The Alert was issued Friday after 14-year-old Solai and 9-year-old Laila Pomtong were abducted around 3 p.m. from Plumas County.

The suspect, 33-year-old Alicia Lapp, was taken into custody.

No further details were immediately available.
