DUBLIN, Calif. (KGO) -- A new IKEA coming to Dublin is changing its design plans after the community protested.

IKEA released new images of the property at Interstate 580 and Hacienda Drive.

The new images show that the parking lot has not been turned into open space for pedestrians and includes buildings for restaurants and retail.

IKEA says it moved the parking lot under the store and reduced the size of the store by 30,000 square feet.

The Swedish home goods company says the store will create 350 new jobs in Dublin.
