SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- The Convention for California College Republicans was held in San Jose Saturday as President Trump marked his 100th day in office.

Many people in the Bay Area protested the milestone, but the California College Republicans say the President is doing just fine, and would even make Ronald Reagan proud. "He's really been hitting the spectrum, whether it's with his foreign policy or his tax plan. So, I think for every type of Republican there is a way to agree with him in these last 100 days," Leesa Danzek said.

Around 300 students attended the annual convention in San Jose.

President Trump is giving himself high marks for the first 100 days, but there were harsh words in Oakland. "100 days of chaos, corruption and dysfunction," Representative Barbara Lee said at a rally and march about climate change.

In San Jose, the Raging Grannies gave Mr. Trump a failing grade. "Is there anything lower than an F? He's even worse," San Jose resident Elizabeth Giomousis said.

President Trump has changed the tone in Washington, but hasn't passed a single major piece of legislation. His budget plan to repeal and replace Obamacare is stalled for now, and back in the hands of a Republican congress. His biggest accomplishment so far may be nominating a new conservative to the U.S. Supreme Court, Neil Gorsuch.
