Wheelchair-accessible van found after being stolen in Fremont

A wheelchair-accessible van that was stolen Saturday in Fremont has been found, police said on Monday.

The van, which had a wheelchair lift, was stolen from the 300 block of Blake Avenue sometime between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. Saturday.

Police put out a photo of the van and information about the theft on social media and said this morning that a community member saw one of the posts and spotted the van.

Police found the van on Parkside Drive. Information about who might have stolen the vehicle was not immediately available.
