2 Children Among 4 Missing After Key West Snorkeling Trip

Helicopter crews are searching waters near Key West for four boaters -- including a teenager and an 11-year-old -- who never returned from a snorkeling trip Tuesday.

A concerned family member contacted the Coast Guard Tuesday evening after David Thompson, 48, Adam Kelley, 28, Joshua Thompson, 15, and Evan Thompson, 11, did not return from their trip. They were expected back before 4 p.m. Tuesday, the Coast Guard said.

The boaters had left Banana Bay Resort in Key West earlier Tuesday in a 25-foot Grady Whiteto snorkel about six miles north of Key West.

Three helicopter crews are involved in today's search.
