1 killed in accident involving Capitol Corridor train in Pinole

PINOLE, Calif. (KGO) -- Service has been restored after a fatal accident involving a Capitol Corridor train occurred in Pinole this morning.

The accident prompted systemwide delays, but service has now returned to normal and trains are once again moving from Richmond to Martinez.

Officials are investigating the accident at this time.
