Cleanup of acid on San Leandro connector ramp continues
A big-rig overturned on a connector ramp from Interstate Highway 880 to state Highway 238 in San Leandro this morning, spilling a hazardous material into the soil near the highway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

SAN LEANDRO, Calif. (KGO) -- In the East Bay, 500 gallons of a highly flammable, corrosive, and toxic acid spilled onto an East Bay road after a big-rig overturned Thursday on a connector ramp between Interstates 880 and 238 in San Lorenzo.
