Gas prices are starting to rebound after hitting their lowest level of the year last week.

AAA expects to see prices continue to rise nationwide throughout the month.

However, California prices aren't following the trend. In fact, our average gas price dropped a penny in the last week. It's down 15 cents from last month.

The state's average price is $2.92 per gallon, according to AAA. Locally, you'll find that price around Vallejo.

Gas is a few cents more per gallon in San Jose, and slightly higher in Oakland.

San Francisco drivers pay $3.09 per gallon.
