San Jose City officials reopen Alum Rock Park after grass fire
Alum Rock Park has reopened to the public after a grass fire forced officials to shut it down for safety reasons.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- Alum Rock Park has reopened to the public after a grass fire forced officials to shut it down for safety reasons.

The fire destroyed 120-acres in that part of San Jose last week.

The city reopened the park and its trails on Friday.

Three firefighters were hurt battling the flames in the Sunset Hills neighborhood.
