SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- We've partnered with the team at Hoodline - the hyperlocal neighborhood website to find weekend activities in and around the Bay Area.

The Great San Francisco Charity Scavenger Hunt

If you want to give back this weekend and have fun try the Greater Good Games scavenger hunt. Proceeds will go to the Saint Francis Challenge and their effort to bring more transitional housing units to San Francisco to curb homelessness.

"We're just two teams away, we just need two more teams to come and sign up," said Shuai Chen, an organizer.

"The money that is being raised will go towards building another one of these shelters, which costs $1000 to build. It has locking doors and feels very secure. You can lock in your belongings," said Amy Farah Weiss, with the Saint Francis Challenge. "We actually had a pregnant couple with two dogs living in one of these shelters."

The hunt begins Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the Southern Pacific Brewing Company. It cost $30 to get in.

Pedalfest at Jack London Square in Oakland

From walking to cycling, you'll want to head over to Oakland's Jack London Square for bicycle shenanigans on Saturday.

The Pedalfest rolls in at 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

If you don't want to ride you can watch dare-devil students, see art bikes, and enjoy music on the square. There's also a kid's bike rodeo making it fun for the whole family.
