Detwiler Fire containment up to 50-percent as some residents return home

Detwiler Fire 50-percent contained, some return home
The town of Mariposa is slowly coming alive after the raging Detwiler Fire shut it down for three days.

MARIPOSA, Calif. (KGO) -- The Detwiler Fire burning outside Yosemite National Park is now 50-percent contained, according to Cal Fire.

The containment number is up from 45-percent that Cal Fire reported on Sunday.

More than 76,000 acres have burned, including more than 100 buildings, at least 60 of which are homes.

Some evacuation orders were lifted Sunday in Mariposa.
