Little League team from San Ramon to play in Game 1 of West Regionals on ESPN3

It's every young baseball player's dream to play in the Little League World Series and the 11-12-year-old all-stars from San Ramon's Canyon Creek Little Leauge are so close they can taste it.

They begin the final leg of their journey to Williamsport Monday. Canyon Creek earned the right to play after becoming Northern California champions. Their first opponent is a Southern California team.

If the San Ramon boys win Monday's game and two more, they're Williamsport-bound.

Even the Oakland A's are cheering them on -- they put a scoreboard message up at the Coliseum.
