The Atlas Fire is flaring in Napa County where there has been some significant flames in the Skyline Wilderness Park area.

The good news is there aren't any homes in this area, but obviously firefighters want to get these flames out.

Napa is just across the highway, where an advisory evacuation has been issued for parts of the city.

Early this morning, a long line of police cars rolled through the Napa Vallejo Highway headed toward the city of Napa. It included several different agencies, including San Mateo County, Coalinga and San Bruno. They can help in many different ways, with road closures, evacuations and patrolling neighborhoods.

New evacuation centers are also popping up. One was set up at American Canyon High School with cots, blankets, food, water and Wi-Fi.

The Sonoma Raceway campgrounds have been opened for RVs. Fairfield High School is also now open as a shelter. Evacuation centers are taking donations like clothing and blankets.

People are trying to be hopeful, but it's difficult when you still have fire burning out of control.
