SONOMA COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) -- As a result of smoke, ash, fire danger, and safety concerns from the North Bay fires, many schools in the North Bay have closed down to protect students and staff.

• Alexander Valley Union Elementary School will resume classes on Tuesday, Oct. 17.
• Antioch Unified School District will resume classes on Mon., Oct. 16
• Bellevue Union School District will be closed through Friday, Oct. 20
• Benicia Unified School District will resume classes on Monday, Oct. 16
• Calistoga Joint Unified School District closed through Friday, October 20
• California State University Maritime Academy closed through Monday, October 16 - will resume classes on Tuesday, Oct. 17
• Cinnabar School District will resume classes on Tuesday, Oct. 17
• Cloverdale School District will resume classes on Wednesday, Oct. 18
• College of Marin will resume classes on Monday, Oct. 16
• Cotati Rohnert Park School District will resume classes on Monday, Oct. 16
• Dominican University will resume classes on Monday, Oct. 16
• Dunham School District will resume classes on Tuesday, Oct. 17
• Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District will resume classes on Monday, Oct. 16
• Forestville School District will re-open on Tuesday, Oct. 17
• Fort Ross School District will resume classes Monday, Oct. 16
• Geyserville School District closed through Friday, October 20
• Gravenstein School District will resume classes Tuesday, Oct. 17
• Guerneville School District will resume classes on Tuesday, Oct. 17
• Harmony/Salmon School District will resume classes on Tuesday, Oct. 17
• Healdsburg School District will resume classes on Tuesday, Oct. 17
• Horicon School District will resume classes on Monday, Oct. 16
• Howell Mountain Elementary School District will resume classes on Wednesday, Oct. 18
• John Swett Unified School District will resume classes Monday, Oct. 16
• Kenwood School District will remain closed through Friday, Oct. 20
• Kashia School District will resume classes on Monday, Oct. 16
• Liberty School District will resume classes on Monday, Oct. 16
• Marin County public schools will resume classes on Monday, October 16
• Martinez Unified School District will resume classes on Monday, Oct. 16
• Mark West School District will be closed through Friday, Oct. 20
• Mendocino School Districts (Potter Valley, Ukiah, Willits) will resume classes on Monday, October 16
• Monte Rio School District will resume classes, Monday, Oct. 16
• Mount Diablo Unified School District will resume classes on Monday, Oct. 16
• Montgomery School District will resume classes on Monday, Oct. 16
• Napa Valley College will resume classes on Monday, Oct. 23
• Napa Valley Unified schools will resume classes on Wednesday, October 18
• Oak Grove Union School District closed Friday, Oct. 13, classes will resume Tuesday, Oct. 17
• Old Adobe School District will resume classes on Tuesday, Oct. 17th
• Petaluma City School District will resume classes Tuesday, Oct 17th
• Piner Olivet School District will be closed for the week of October 16
• Pittsburg Unified School District will resume classes on Tuesday, October 17th
• Pope Valley Union Elementary School District closed through Tuesday, October 17
• Rincon Valley School District will be closed through Friday, Oct. 20
• Roseland School District closed Friday, October 20
• San Francisco State University will resume classes on Monday, October 16
• Santa Rosa City Schools will be closed through Friday, Oct. 20
• Santa Rosa Junior College extends closure to Sunday, Oct. 22
• Sebastopol Union School District closed Friday, October 13 - will resume classes on Tuesday, October 17
• Sonoma State University resumes classes on Wed., Oct 18th
• Sonoma Valley Unified schools will be closed through Friday, Oct. 20
• St. Helena Unified School District will re-open Wednesday, Oct. 18
• The Reach School will resume classes Tuesday, Oct. 17
• Twin Hills Union School District closed Friday, October 13 - will resume classes on Tuesday, October 17
• Two Rock Union School District closed Friday, October 13 - will resume classes on Tuesday, October 17
• Vallejo City Unified School District will resume classes Tuesday, Oct. 17
• Waugh School District will resume classes on Monday, Oct. 16
• West Contra Costa Unified School District will resume classes on Monday, Oct. 16
• West Side School District closed Friday, October 13 - will resume classes on Tuesday, October 17
• West Union School District closed through Friday, October 20
• West Sonoma County Union High School District closed Friday, October 13 - will resume classes on Tuesday, October 17
• Wilmar/Wilson School District closed Friday, October 13 - will resume classes on Tuesday, October 17
• Windsor School District be closed through Wednesday, Oct. 18
• Wright School District will resume classes Wednesday, Oct. 18
• Vacaville Unified School District will resume classes Monday, Oct. 16
