San Jose police looking for more victims after robbery suspects arrested

Police are asking individuals who may have been victims of robberies near the Eastridge Mall in San Jose earlier this year to come forward after identifying and arresting four suspects allegedly involved in a similar robbery in the area. (KGO-TV )

Police are asking individuals who may have been victims of robberies near the Eastridge Mall in San Jose earlier this year to come forward after identifying and arresting four suspects allegedly involved in a similar robbery in the area.

San Jose police Wednesday identified suspects allegedly connected to a robbery and shooting in late April and said they may have committed other armed robberies in the area between March and April of this year.

Police said officers responded to a call of a shooting at the mall located at 2185 Eastridge Loop around 3:40 p.m. on April 25. Officers found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound that was not considered life-threatening.

Christopher French, 20, of San Jose, was captured after being found hiding in a nearby store, police said. French was arrested on suspicion of robbery and assault with a firearm.

Three other suspects fled the scene but have been arrested since then.

On Aug. 17, Jaleen Fleming, 19, of San Jose, was arrested at his home in San Jose and Jeremy Lemelle, 30, was arrested at a hotel in Milpitas.

Fleming was arrested on suspicion of robbery and Lemelle was arrested on suspicion of assault with a firearm and robbery.

Devin Morris, 18, of San Jose, was arrested on Sep. 8 at his home.

He was arrested on suspicion of assault with a firearm and robbery.
