Federal prosecutors have just charged an Iranian national for hacking into HBO and releasing episodes of Game of Thrones.

Federal prosecutors have charged Behzad Mesri for allegedly hacking into the computer servers of Home Box Office or "HBO", stealing proprietary data, including information about then-unreleased episodes of the popular television series, "Game of Thrones," and then allegedly seeking to extort HBO.

We expect to learn more about the charges and Mesri in a national press conference scheduled for later this morning.
