Breathtaking video shows gray whales passing through Monterey Bay

MONTEREY, Calif. (KGO) -- A breathtaking view out of Monterey Bay.

Drone video shows a pod of gray whales passing through earlier this month.

Monterey Bay Whale Watch shared the captivating images, saying "the whales were migrating south to warm, shallow lagoons off the coast of Baja, California, where they regularly mate and give birth."
