Facebook survey asked users if pedophiles could ask underage girls for photographs

MENLO PARK, Calif. (KGO) -- Facebook is under fire Monday after the company asked users whether pedophiles should be able to proposition underage girls for photographs.

Facebook scrapped the survey after it was spotted by media outlets in the United Kingdom.

A vice president at Facebook called it "a mistake," adding that "this kind of activity is and will always be completely unacceptable."
