Teenage girl bitten by rattlesnake in Clayton

CLAYTON, Calif. (KGO) -- A 15 year old girl is recovering after being bitten by a small rattlesnake in Clayton.

It happened on Mount Davidson Court in the Dana Hills neighborhood just before 5 p.m. Friday.

Clayton police and firefighters were called out to the scene.

Paramedics treated the girl on the spot before she went to the hospital.
