Evacuations underway as firefighters battle blaze in Pinole

PINOLE, Calif. (KGO) -- Evacuations are underway as firefighters battle a vegetation fire in Pinole this afternoon.

The fire was reported in the area of Henry Avenue and Greenfield Circle.

Pinole Fire Department is on the scene along with allied fire agencies.

Hercules police were assisting with evacuations in the area.
