ALAMEDA, Calif. (KGO) -- Alameda County prosecutors on Friday dismissed all charges against Stephen Peterson, one of the suspects in last month's arson fires in Alameda.

Prosecutors say they didn't have enough evidence to support charges against Peterson, who was released from jail two weeks ago.

Petersen's friends had said he was at Rooster's Roadhouse, a bar near the docks in Alameda, working as a sound tech during the time police accused him of being across town starting fires.

Prosecutors will go forward with felony arson charges against the other suspect, 22-year old Andrew Gutierrez. Police say he's the man seen in this surveillance video taken the night of the fires.

In fact, they amended their complaint to include charges orginally filed against Peterson.
