Assistance available for South Napa Quake victims

NAPA, Calif. (KGO) -- Beginning Wednesday, families affected by the Napa earthquake can apply for emergency assistance. Grants totaling $1 million, from the Napa Valley Community Federation is now available.

Meanwhile, Wednesday is the last day the county health department is surveying residents on the impact of the quake.

Rebuilding is going slowly. Seven buildings at Napa State Hospital are still, mainly off limits.

Wednesday scaffolding collapsed outside of one building trying to get back on track. It happened at Ristorante Allegria on First Street. No one was hurt.
