Police search for man accused of stealing Jerry Rice autographed football in Milpitas

MILPITAS, Calif. (KGO) -- Milpitas police are asking for help identifying a man suspected of stealing a Jerry Rice autographed football from a charity event.

Police say video appears to capture him stealing the ball during a fundraiser benefiting special-needs children at an orphanage in China.

Organizers say the winning bid for the football was $3,500.
