Thousands of baby salmon delivered to Half Moon Bay
Tanker trucks delivered thousands of baby salmon to Half Moon Bay on Wednesday. They'll be held in a pen and released once they are acclimated to the ocean water.

HALF MOON BAY, Calif. (KGO) -- Tanker trucks delivered thousands of baby salmon to Pillar Point, off Half Moon Bay on Wednesday. The fish came from the Mokelumne Fish Hatchery near Lodi and will be held in a pen for five days and released into the ocean as part of a rearing project by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Coastside Fishing Club to support commercial and recreational fisheries.
